Solar install in Pleasanton, California. This system consists of 22 all-black SunPower 335 watt panels paired with a SolarEdge inverter. Even with shading, we expect this system to produce 10,096 kilowatts of electricity in its first year.
On a SolarEdge system, each panel contains an optimizer to individually maximize solar a production on a per-panel basis. That way, a single shaded panel will not affect production for the rest of the system. In addition, SolarEdge customers are able to monitor their solar production by the panel.
