I’m happy to write a far more positive review for YES. The battery issue was successfully resolved remotely and YES did send out a technician who identified the issue and relayed it back to Enphase. This happened back in June 2026.
Now, I’ll go with YES again to expand my battery coverage and add a EV charger. Nic Short who handled all my questions and produced excellent summaries and options for my system is excellent. His emails are clear, informative, and prompt. I’m moving forward knowing what to expect in terms of costs and savings.

Your Energy Solutions expanded my solar system and added two Enphase batteries. I wish my review could be more positive but the follow up on a malfunctioning battery has been extremely poor. Both Y.E.S. and Enphase have not followed through on correcting the issue and I've been going back and forth with them both for nearly two months now. I thought, at one point, a technician from Y.E.S. would come to the house to fix the issue because all remote fixes are simply not working. If fact, we had a hard date on the calendar but they cancelled. Trying to reschedule has been frustrating and practically impossible. They stopped reply to emails. I do not think a customer should be sidelined like this by any company. If you're going solar/battery be very careful of the company you choose and be sure they will follow up in a timely manner with any fixes as needed.

There are too many one and two star Google reviews for Y.E.S. all saying the same thing about customer service. Beware of this company! Enphase needs to choose better companies to sponsor their products and Enphase needs to do a better job as well with following through.
There has got to be better companies than this. I cannot have Y.E.S. do any additional work on my system simply because I can't trust them to respond and address/correct any problems.

Y.E.S. worked on our solar installation. The process was straight forward and have been responsive in communications and the installation. The entire team at Y.E.S. was super helpful, Thanks to Mia and Geno from sales, Skyler and Celeste and Varon throughout the operation and installation from the crew and Omar also made the inspection process smooth. Highly recommend!
This is my second post review for your energy solutions. I recently had some issues with my Home Tesla charger and my solar at my residence. My first review I must say though every company that I dealt with on a big project there are some issues but everything was pretty much squared away and I was impressed with the company though this recent issue I must say customer support was there for me and took care of the problem! There was some communication issues after the first install which was last October 2025, but things did get squared away, but I must mention recently an employee within the company her name is Skyler was so professional and knowledgeable, and I’ve never had customer service be so sincere regarding my issue and Skyler was easy to get a hold of and again was there for my concerns about the issue I was having! The company your energy solutions has a very valuable employee working for them! These days hard to find somebody that cares about the job these days. Skyler cares very much working for this company and I was very fortunate to have her help me out!Thank you very much Skyler!👏
We could not be more delighted with the results we achieved working with the team at Your Energy Solutions. The many moving parts to our residential solar plus battery system, including the various entities, such as PG&E, Tesla, City inspectors, and the financial backers we opted to use all progressed seamlessly and, for us effortlessly, thanks to many individuals working behind the scenes. In particular, Skyler could not have been more helpful, managing our project and acting as a point of contact. Others included David in sales who demystified the process, Varon who coordinated with the utility to ensure we met all requirements, and Gino, who collaborated with Maxwell Power (formerly HDM Renewable Finance), the clean-energy company that helped finance our residential system.On site, the design and install team did a great job keeping things simple. The entire system, including battery and thirteen panels, was installed according to Ramiros's expert design within just four hours. Good quality hardware was used to tie to the roof, which was inspected by our roofer and given a big thumbs up for not causing problems. But even before that, David our site survey tech, gave us the sense that all would proceed well, as he collected necessary data by drone, and made a favorable first impression with his personable approach. Toward the end of the multi-month process, which included time to get a new roof installed, we passed city inspection with YES tech, Dario, an extremely courteous young man, present to ensure we made it through that last step and PTO (permission to operate).YES has an excellent and well-deserved reputation because of these people and others who worked on our behalf. The company can do better automating some of the process, and to be fair, they say they are working on transitioning to a CRM software solution for this purpose. But, I can say that over a period of several months, I had excellent communication with many helpful people. Skyler in customer service was my primary contact and that made all the difference.My thanks to YES for helping us make this wonderful and complex project a reality. We love our new YES-backed system and look forward to working with the company again in the future.
We used these guys years ago to install some panels. They came back again to help us remove and reinstall the solar panels because of a reroof. Communication was excellent, and they even accommodated some last-minute schedule changes. The installers did an amazing job and left the place spotless and the panels working perfectly. I highly recommend them for your solar needs.
I purchased an 8Kw solar system from Your Energy Solutions (YES) in 2019 - 23 350-watt panels. YES provided me a 25-year limited warranty along with the purchase/install. The panels originally installed were a company called "Solaria" - I assume they are manufactured in China. The system also comes with a monitoring system, and I have an iPhone app called "Enlighten".Fast forward - three times in the last 7 years, the Enlighten app has shown that 1 or more panels is producing much lower than the adjacent panels. This time, it was 3 panels. I reached out to YES, and they informed me that Solaria was acquired by another company, and that company isn't being responsive to bad panel warranty claims.Nevertheless, YES agreed to replace the 3 bad panels with a different panel at no charge. In other words, they honored their warranty even though their supplier isn't necessarily honoring at their end. It took a while, but I now have 3 new panels producing beautifully on my roof along with other 20.This is why I gave them 5 stars - they installed a good product that nevertheless has had a few problems, but 7 years after the install, they are honoring their warranty. Top-notch Customer service - they can be trusted!
This is the best solar and battery installer in the Bay Area. Honest assessment, competitive prices and will manage the entire process along with the permitting process. Years later I had an IRS solar audit and they were more than willing to help me get through that process. Honest solar provider is not an oxymoron - it's Your Energy Solutions!
We loved YES's solar installation on our house. Our primary contact Gary was the most knowledgable solar rep we've talked to, and he offered us a wide range of panels to fit all budgets. YES had the most competitive bid. Installation was done right the first time, and we love the Enphase monitoring software.Our only regret is that they weren't the fastest at answering email. Everything else went super smoothly!Update 2026 - after several years, one of our panels was underperforming relative to the manufacturer's performance guarantee. YES performed a panel replacement at no cost to us. This warranty case was a little harder since the original panel manufacturer had several changes of ownership, but YES was able to find a similar size/power panel, and it looks seamless. It took a little while to get that figured out, but the replacement went smoothly. Everything working as expected.
The service is great! I have spoken with so many solar companies and Your Energy Solutions is by far the BEST! I 100% recommend buying solar from here.
Your Energy Solutions installed our solar system 11 years ago and when it stopped working earlier this year, they initially declined to help service due to prioritizing new business before the solar tax credits expired at the end of 2025. :/Two months later (with our system being partially down the whole time), they agreed to come and re-wire 1 string in the hope this will fix the problems (electric arc faults). They wanted *full* pre-payment in order to schedule the service call, with no guarantees this would fix the issue or that they would keep the service appointment. I ended up agreeing and prepaying, waited for >1 month, and they rescheduled on me a few days before the service appt., pushing it by more than 2 months (into 2026), even though this was precisely what they ensured me they wouldn't do, when I expressed concern about prepaying...I would stay away from this company -- they showed predatory business practices and clearly prioritized signing up new clients instead of supporting their existing ones.(EDIT Mar. 2026) Two+ months after the original review and Your Energy Solution's promise to "take care of the issue in January, as promised", I have not heard from them, even though I reached out to Jim a couple of times to resolve this...(EDIT Apr. 2026) I am updating my review after the new owner, Geno Gitas, reached out and offered to make things right by fixing the issue that had been plaguing us for 8 months, and doing so quickly and free of charge. By that time, I had written YES off and had scheduled an appointment with another contractor, but decided to give them another shot and I am glad I did. YES came out 3 more times debugging the issue (fault errors with no visible cause), and ended up removing and rewiring all panels, and replacing our 10-year-old racking system as a precaution -- all free of charge! It turned out 3 of the panels were not working properly but they were able to bypass them and restore service with the rest. This was 5 star service but since I still have some PTSD from the prior experience, I'll leave this at 4 stars. I really appreciated the intervention from Geno, though, and the follow through -- YES has re-earned my trust to consider them for future projects.
