Outsmart the Grid
When producing electricity with solar panels, your home uses the electricity first. Extra electricity goes to the grid and is credited at the retail rates with Net Metering, lowering electric bills even when the sun is not out. But with mandatory time of use rate plans, the most expensive times to use electricity do not always correlate to the the times of peak solar generation. With a home battery, store your extra solar electricity from the day to use during the hours when electricity is the most expensive, such as late evenings when the sun has set.
Use your solar electricity at night, after the sun has set and your solar system is no longer producing. Reduce your carbon footprint. Avoid using dirty, night-time grid energy and power your life with 100% renewable energy.
Power, even during a blackout
Use your battery to power your home whenever the grid is down. Create your very own micro-grid, where your house is independent from the grid and can operate around the clock, and continue using electricity as normal. Your battery will power your lights, TV, computer, refrigerator, microwave, and virtually anything you can plug into a standard wall outlet, throughout your home. When the grid goes down, the battery automatically takes over.

Power: The maximum amount electricity can be drawn form the battery at a given moment of time.
Peak Power: Batteries may temporally increase their power output for up to 10 seconds to accommodate extra energy needed when an appliance starts up.
1 battery not enough?
Combine multiple batteries to maximize available electricity during a blackout.
Power for extended blackouts
Have a personal micro-grid. Even if the battery depletes at night, your Solar System will begin charging battery when when the sun rises the next day, powering your home for extended blackouts.
Which battery is best?
Choosing the right battery involves balancing price, amount battery storage needed, whether you are installing a new solar system or adding to an existing one, and goals. Our energy consultants will help you choose the right battery to gain true energy independence.
